Is there a such thing as getting trained as a CNA online???? What you should do is check with the california board of health, and the California BON they should be able to help you find some place. good luck

the california department of health services maintains the nurse aide registry for our state. here is there address and phone number:

cna/hha/cht certification unit

licensing & certification program

atcs-ms 3301

p.o. box 997416

1615 capitol avenue

sacramento, ca 95899-7416

(916) 327-2445

here is a link to their web page:

http://www.dhs.ca.gov/lnc/cert/default.htm

there is a link to a file of certification facts that you should check out as well as the faq (frequently asked questions) link. on their website they recommend that you e-mail or fax questions to them because of the heavy volume of calls on their phone line. all the numbers you need are listed there.

here is a link that will take you to lists of approved training programs:

http://www.dhs.ca.gov/lnc/cert/training/default.htm

you merely need to find the programs that are near where you live.

Where in Norcali are you? Northern California larger than a lot of states...
