CNA certification

Hello Allnurses.com, I'm start my pre-reqs for nursing school August 22nd at University of Missouri-Kansas City. Has anyone on here graduated from UMKC or planning on attending. I wanted to know if they do CNA certification at their school after a certain amount of semesters once you've been accepted in nursing school. Thanks in advance :D:D

Probably, I've been reading this forum for a while and many people have said that you can sit and take the CNA test after a semester of nursing school. This obviously varies place to place however.

Thanks for the info!

Thanks for the info as well! I've been needing to ask my adviser about this to! If not, I need to get busy on enrolling into the CNA Program in my area. I'd just much rather be able to sit for the test after my first semester or 2 of NS, than shell out all the extra tuition and book costs for the 3 month CNA program in my city! :)
