CMC

So regretfully to say, I failed my CMC certification last week. I studied for 3 full days plus I have been an MICU nurse in a level one facility for 2 years and I float to CVICU regularly for extra shifts.

I got a 51 when the pass cutoff was 52 FML!!!!! Do y'all have any recommendations or study guides to get me over that hump? I am already scheduled to take it again in a few weeks. CANNOT FAIL AGAIN!

I know this is old, but how did you do the second time around? What did you use to study? I am thinking about sitting for my CMC in the near future. I'm looking for resources now.

Hey? Did you take it again? Was the exam the same questions??

I have not taken CMC, it seems to be very broad. I think the hemodynamic part is very helpful to study, but for ICU nurse, the non-ICU medications are not things you deal with regularly.
