The end of this week I am taking the CM test for the first time. I have been studying but my tummy is upset. I am told as long as you study and take the practice test you should be OK, what have been your experience taking this exam for the first time?

I did CCM a few years ago and had used a lot of different books that I had purchased. I passed. I felt that I wasted money on some of the books especially the ones with " retired" questions. As I remember the CCM site had general material to review so make sure to know that. It seemed that most of the questions came from that. Also, don't over think the questions.
I took my test this morning.....I passed!!! Yes I agree I used the books, took a workshop and after taking the test was surprised I could have just completed the practice tests. I do think by the time we take this test we are already well versed in the knowledge we should have though. Thank you for your reply.
Congratulations!

I am taking mine tomorrow and am freaking out a little bit. I have not been able to study as much as I would have liked. I usually test well but have already accepted that I am going to fail í ½í¸•

Join the Facebook group called "Case Managers Community" they provide daily questions with the rationale. All you need to pass is the book, "CCM Certification Made Easy" by Deanna Gillingham, the workbook and glossary. The exam is not as hard as the NCLEX imo.
