clinicals

hey everyone. i went pick up my application for clinicals today. i'm also thinking about applying for respiratory. i have a friend in that and she is applying also and said there was only 10 people applying. i'm really considering respiratory care. i think i have a better chance of getting in this than nursing next semester. i would be done next summer if i got in, but i think i would want to go back for nursing after. anyone ever thought about doing this or know someone who has?

Have you been accepted to a nursing program yet? If you're picking clinicals, it sounds like you're already in a program. I think it depends on if you want to do nursing now or wait around. Does your program have a waiting list?

I have not gotten in yet. I'm applying for them. I won't know if I get in until August I believe. If I would happen to get into both i would choose nursing. I'm not sure if there is a waiting list or not. I'm just not sure my gpa will get me in next semester. If I get in to resp I'll be done next summer and could apply for nursing again next spring.
