What year did you graduate? This is where the submission of the requested documents gets real touchy with the CA BRN and the applicant.
2005-ust
im endorsing from another state
Do you know for sure if ALL your clinical AND theoretical courses were done in the same semester, not months later, not a year or two later?
If you were a 2004 PH grad, there's a better chance of passing the strict CA BRN concurrency rules, so being a 2005 grad is borderline.
You'll read of many that upon submission of the clinical cases is what has denied the vast majority for not meeting the concurrency regulation. Certainly, it's worth a try to go ahead and send them in, but just be prepared in the case the next letter received by the CA BRN could be the one that will not allow the endorsement as others here have reported the same terrible results.
the problem is i dnt have them anymore
Oh oh, you'll have to see if your school has retained them and quickly get the copies.
There's been a few other posters who were also in the same situation of misplaced or lost clinical case paperwork and the CA BRN has denied the application and in some cases, they waited too long (there's a 3 year limitation to clear up and submit anything missing or else, the application will be considered "abandoned").
With the recent bulletin postings by the CA BRN, they are going to be very strict with the proof of minimum required documentation whether for the examination OR endorsement process.
Did the hospital give you a certain time to start work, to get your CA RN license? Was it in writing or just verbal? I would think the hospital will give you a month to a few weeks to obtain the RN license, as that's what it seems for most that are endorsing (as a USA educated nurse).
Maybe you should let them know it can be a few more months and hope they will keep the position open for you, but do let them know of your situation or they could think you're no longer interested in the job and will simply move on to someone who can quickly fill in.
they are not keeping clinical cases record anymore for 2009 and below graduates
That's not good news. Wonder if you can get copies from the agencies that evaluated your transcripts might help? Not sure back then, if they even asked for them. I would e-mail or call your CA evaluator to see what he/she might accept instead of the clinical cases, but expect the possible answer of they still need them for review. You never know, worth a try.
is that possible to contact them directly?
