Hi all,
This may be a stupid question, but here goes. I am an LPN that got conned into using the College Network for my ADN. Am almost ready to take my A&P test, and wondering how to do that with CLEP since it is cheaper than through Excelsior. College Network has not been very informative. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much!!!

Amazon.com. You can also order them through Barnes and Noble.
Does CLEP even HAVE an exam for A&P? I know Excelsior does.
Wanted to add this – I have actually found four-year institutions that do not accept CLEP exams, but will take Excelsior exams because Excelsior is an accredited COLLEGE, and they award tangible college credit. MOST four-year institutions DO accept CLEP credit, but not all of them accept it in the same way. I’m passing this on because I would hate to see someone go for their RN and end up having to actually retake a course just because the school doesn’t like CLEP exams.

I got all my books and study materials through RUE Publishers. I did CLEP A&P....but I didn't complete the Regeants program.
Thanks so much for all the info!!

I wasn't aware that there was a CLEP for A&P either. BUT, I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend that you contact the school that you are planning on using the CLEP A&P for and asking them if they will even accept it. Most schools only accept certain CLEP courses.

Neither have I heard about CLEP A&P. I think college network causes more confusion. You can take Excelsior A&P. I recommend the same: check with your school if you intend to use the Excelsior A&P because Excelsior gives out 6 credits for their A&P while most other schools' A&P is a two semesters course and worth at least 8 credits (one local school here has a 2 sems A&P total 10 credits).
