I am considering taking the Clep humanities test for a few reasons. It's cheaper, and I wont have to take two classes. Has anyone taken this test? I would appreciate any info that you can give me. I have this and the CPNE to go. Thanks!

I think they sell a study guide on the CLEP website.
I CLEP'd English Comp I & II here in FL. The writing-intensive courses I took, which were acceptable alternatives to Comp I & II in NY, didn't count here in FL.
Whatevah...
My plans are to CLEP all the courses I can. Saves money.
Good luck.

I took the Humanities CLEP and passed it. It was a real bargain: I paid $85 for 6 ours of credit and saved all of that time sitting in classes!
I spent a couple of afternoons taking practice tests to prepare for it.
If you have already good foundation of knowledge about music (the different styles i.e. baroque, romantic, jazz, etc., the composers of each, famous compositions, etc) art (schools of art like modernism, cubism, impressionism etc. the artists, famous masterpieces), architecture (styles, architects), literature (authors, styles, etc) you should be fine. You will need to be able to look at a work of art and identify the artist or the style. You will also need to be able to read a passage and identify the author, or the theme, the work it came from, etc. Make sure you know about the various types of poetry (meters, for instance), and all of that fun stuff like simile, irony, alliteration, etc.
To get an idea of what you need to know, take those practice tests. The official CLEP book has two or three of them, and any big book store will have CLEP books from other publishers.
Good luck!
