what to choose

I am a junior in college getting ready to start the nursing program. I am interested in being a nurse in the air force, but I have been thinking about traveling nurses as well. Does anybody know which is better? I don't have any children o and I'm not married.

The military is really tightening up, and it's becoming more and more difficult to get in. Something to think about. Also, you are government property, and are constantly reminded as much.

Check out the government nursing forum (under specialties) and the travel nursing forum (same place). Read through some posts to get a sense of what people experience.

Personally, if I was single with no kids, I'd LOVE to do travel nursing. I did the military thing, and didn't like being government property. It wasn't for me, but for some, it's a great match.
