Child with rash

My three year old son has a cough that has lasted for 1 week, today it sounds junky and I noticed a rash developing all over his body. Red spots, red circles, some raised and some flat on his face, eyelid, arms, legs, back. No fever, no new foods, detergents or soaps. What does it sound like?

Take him to the doctor.

If you have not contacted your child's PCP, please do so. He/she is the only one who can give you adequate medical advice. Please call today. If it is too late, you may call the ED at your local hospital and talk with a health care provider. As you are probably aware, we at Allnurses.com are unable to give you any medical advice.

We hope your child gets better.
