I came to work found child dependent on all adl'shome alone. Notified president of company, was told to do nothing. Two days later it happened again. Now i have difficulity sleeping. The child's mother is curently in RN school has only two semesters ltc. I hate to cause trouble. I found another job start in 3 days for half the pay during orientation can't pay bills, so i'am still haning in there and without sleep. My heart is heavy!

Are you an RN, LPN or CNA? If so, please check the mandatory child abuse/neglect reporting laws in your state.

You have a duty, an obligation and the right to report this to child welfare. They may even be able to keep your name out of it, but you HAVE to report this! Imagine how much worse you'd feel (and how much worse things would be with your employment) if you walked in and the child had expired.
