You living in Havelock or New Bern? I'm in Havelock. Right now, my son is in the Child's Garden Preschool on Mccotter Blvd. Definately try base but it could get expensive. I was paying $236.00 per bi/week when I was in the Marine Corps. Also try Godette Headstart. It's free if you qualify depending on what your husband makes per year.

I hear headstart is a good program. more and I'm thinking of getting my kids into that program. Since I dont work and dh is a SGT I think we wouldnt end up paying an arm and a leg. We are right near Craven CC area. If you hear of any other good childcare programs please let me know. I would appreciate it a lot. What semester of the RN program are you in?:roll

I'm not in the program. I'm currently awaiting my letter from Craven. But if you look at the class schedules for the program, most of the classes end around 11:00am for lecture and around 2:30pm on clinical days. So definately try a program in New Bern because here in Havelock, the Headstart lets out around 2:30pm.
