Chicago Graduate Programs - Any reviews/opinions?

Hello everyone! :wink2::wink2: I am currently researching on Chicago area schools that offer a graduate program for NP. I am still learning more about what each NP specialty entails (FNP? Adult? Acute Care?). Basically I have no idea what I would like to focus on in the future. Is there anyone who is currently enrolled in a MSN program in the Chicago area...or has graduated from one...and can share opinions or experiences with the program you are or were enrolled in. I would like to know about faculty, clinicals, or the way you were treated as a student. Even if you are not an NP or may have heard from others their thoughts on specific programs if it was good or bad. Some schools that I am looking into are Rush, UIC, and Loyola just to name a few. Any input would be greatly appreciated =)

What I can tell you is that Rush has one of the top programs in the nation. They were recently recognized for it too!

AND if you work at Rush University Medical Center you don't pay for school (after six months of employement).

Some of the nurses I work with (many actually) are in the MSN programs...some NNP, some FNP, some PNP and a few in Acute Critical NP program at Rush. They all have to study a sschiiit ton but they are learning A LOT...and getting a REALLY good education!
