Chester County - CAT Program

Hello,

Just scheduled my entrance exam for June through CAT program in Coatesville, PA which is associated with Brandywine Hospital. Anyone else familiar with it?

I did not think it is affiliated with Brandywine Hospital. It is a 18 month LPN program. I know someone who just graduated from it. They have either full time which I think is everyday or night which would take longer. You might have clinicals at Brandwine Hospital but the program that is affiliated with Brandywine Hospital is Brandywine School of Nursing and it is a RN 2 year program with summers off. I do not think CAT has summers off.

GooD luck

Study the NET book before your test, it will help.

Hi Debbie,

I agree with adamsmom. I have a friend who graduated from that program last year and it is not affiliated with Brandywine Hospital. It is a good program though. My friend chose it because it allowed her to go to work faster (as an LPN). She is currently pursuing an RN at DCCC.

Also, I had to take the NET for DCCC and I used the NET book to study with. I will begin clinicals this fall at CCH.

Good Luck.

Hi-I graduated that program in the late 80's (argh-that sounds like such a long time ago) It's called Cat Brandywine due to the school districting-it's not associated with BH.They do clinicals at Chester County Hospital and many area long term care facilities. That program has always had a stellar reputation in this area-successful grads are highly sought.Good luck-I'll probably see you during your clinicals at the ltc where I work...Feel free to p.m. me....
