Is There A Book/site For Charting For Dummies????

I Feel I Need To Word My Charting Better. I'm A New Grad And I Feel My Charting Skills Are Not The Best. Any Suggestions???

Take time to read the charting of other nurses and physicians. You may be able to pick up certain ways of phrasing things that will make your own charting easier.

Agree with Dolce. When starting out, I learned a great deal by reading as many docs' and med students' admission H&Ps as I could. Helped me understand the proper objective tone of clinical writing. Also helped me find my own voice through learning to use phrases that are accurate and objective while still reflecting my own style.

Kudos to you for wanting to improve - you'll do well!
