I've been in TPAPN 20 months, never missed a checkin, never a negative UA. Just read an article today in Texas Nursing Voice that starting Sept 1st the minimum contract is being changed from 2 years to 3 year minimum. I don't know if this means instead of 4 months to go I now have 18. Does anyone have any information on this issue?

Aug 22, 2013 So the article states "As of September 1, 2013 TPAPN’s participation agreements will reflect the longer monitoring periods." That sounds like anyone who signs agreements on or after September 1 will be agreeing to the three year minimum. I am hoping this is the case because I JUST signed my agreement for two years 2 days ago.

Aug 22, 2013 I've read and reread the article, It states "as of Sept 1, 2013 TPAPN's participation agreements will reflect the longer monitoring periods." so hopefully it won't be retroactive I signed 1/6/12. I guess the part that got me was the statement "this means that aprx 175 nurses will continue with TPAPN for at least an extra year." That left me wondering since the min. 2 year statement is in the contract, can they just change the rules. I'm so looking forward to being able to go on a real vacation without having to know where a Quest lab is.

I've read so many horror stories online, and I've got 20 months invested already. No room or time for screwing this up. Hopefully I'll be done end of Dec.
