I graduated in Dec 2008 and have taken nclex 3x with no luck. I hear that they are making changes to the test does anyone know what the changes are and when they are doing them?

this has been discussed several times, the changes are happening for nclex rn and start in april. this is what is stated on the ncsbn website
the new passing standard is -0.16 logits on the nclex-rn logistic scale, 0.05 logits higher than the previous standard of -0.21. the new passing standard will take effect on april 1, 2010, in conjunction with the 2010 nclex-rn test plan.

Thanks. Do you know are there certain review courses that states make you use before you can take nclex the 4th time? I live in MI and read that you need to take a review course but I can't find what ones are acceptable. I would like to start one now since I am still in the nclex frame of mind. I have already done Hurst review and Kaplan. I really can't afford Kaplan again so I was thinking about NCSBN or Sauders. I just don't want to spend money and then MI says I have to do a certain review.
I would suggest you contact your state BON and ask them what the accepted review courses are? They really need to list them because spending money may not be an easy option and doing the wrong course would be money down the drain.

Unfortunately, it seems you would not be able to complete a review course and still be able to test by the end of March. This will make things more difficult. You should look for a course that touches on the changes in order to best prepare at this point.
