Chamberlain Online BSN Program 2020

Published

Hi,

I wanted to see if anyone has any information about Chamberlain's application process currently. I've read some posts saying the HESI exam is being waived due to campus being closed. I really hope that's not the case, because then the main focus would be on my GPA which is on the lower end. Also, does anyone know when we have to write the passion statement?

I'm applying for the new online BSN program they have started for certain states. I have a phone interview with an advisor tomorrow, but if any of you have any information about this program and application process, I'd really appreciate it.

I start at the Atlanta campus August 31st but the app process is the same. Initially they waived my HESI & just based acceptance on GPA & evaluated transcripts from my prior schools. I had 45 credits that I was able to transfer in. I actually just took the HESI yesterday. What they’re doing is accepting students & just having them take HESI at a later date. I took the exam online through ProctorU.

Yeah I just spoke to an advisor this morning. She told me I would take the HESI online through ProctorU. If you don't mind me asking, how did you do? How long did you study for and do you recommend any books or study material?

I only studied for like 2 weeks LOL & I got a 73. I used the HESI exam review but I mostly studied from the mometrix site cause they have free practice tests. Also used the free ones on nurse hub. Highest scores were in reading, grammar, & vocab

That's great! Congratulations! Is the book you studied from called "HESI Admission Assessment Review 4th edition"?

If you have Rothschild, she talks her head off but she is a very sweet lady. Critical reasoning is a lot of work. Had friends take that class. In Sept I take Chem and History and then in Nov I take NR222 - Health and Wellness and Micro w Lab.

So we have micro if you're 8am and health and wellness if your class starts at @1. Will love to collab on studying if you are up to it! Welcome to Atlanta campus by the way. I lowkey miss being in class physically.

Oh okay cool! Hopefully it’s the same class times. Yea I definitely need study buddies! Sounds good. Thanks for the welcome! Yea I’m hoping by January we’ll be on campus. Do you work? I’m trying to figure out how my work schedule will be these next few months. I’m off work Monday-Wednesday for now but I wasn’t sure how the class schedule is?
