Chamberlain- CLEP classes

Hello All,

I'm registered to start the RB-BSN online program the end of February. I was wondering if anyone CLEP'd out of classes to get their program length? If so, which ones and through what site?

Thanks in advance.

You should check with your advisor to find out if they will accept CLEP credits, and for which classes. Chamberlain also requires that you complete a minimum number of credits with Chamberlain to graduate.

Im scheduled to start the RN to BSN online the end of February also.

I only have 10 classes to take, the 7 nursing, stats, Political Science, History.

Where are you located? what classes are you taking? I'm registered for 3 classes

and was told I can be done in 6 months.

I'm in Pa. I'm taking NR 351 and US History first and 2 other nursing class after. I work FT so 3 might be too much for me. Plus I'm paying outta pocket too. Where are you?

Im in Ohio. Taking NR351, NR361 and I think it was US history also. I am paying out of pocket too. Looking at monthly payment plan.

Have 3 young kids, but really want to get this done.

Me too. If this semester goes ok. Maybe I'll add another myself. I want to get it done as soon as possible too. I have 2 kids. A lot of the nurses at my job are doing this program too so hopefully that'll help out. I take NR 361 and 305 next

Do you need Statistics? my advisor said it changed from 4 credits to 3 credits, so hopefully not as many assignments???

that is great you know other people doing program! we will have to keep up with this blog to talk! or PM to share thoughts.

I'm reading through info on site now about APA format, aaaahhhh!!!

I took stats with my associates so I don't need that. I started a FB group too so we could chat over there as well. I can't wait to get started. I'm thinking about adding the PERRLA program to word document to help with writing papers

I'm thinking of PERRLA too. It can't hurt to be prepared. Did you go through all the stuff under Student Portal?

I'd love to join your FB page to keep up! Can we PM to share emails? How long did they tell you to finish? How many classes total?

Do you have to take Political Science?

Hi! I'm planning to take U.S. history next. How was that class? I have 4 nursing classes and statistics left as well. Not looking forward to statistics!!

US history is a lot of busy work. You cover 4-5 chapters a week, a lot of reading. the threaded discussions are ok, you have to post on 3 different days to get full credit. My professor loved to add on an additional question at the end of the week (#3) so always check back. You have a quiz every other week, 2 historical essays that are time consuming and a cumulative final that you have 3 1/2 hrs to complete. I am glad to have it done!!! what other classes are you taking?

what classes are you signed up for?
