I don't know exactly how they do the final sorting out of address v score. I would assume that ranking would take priority over location. So if Livermore is full, but we are still in the top 50, we would likely be accepted to Hayward.

I thought that too, but if you look on the crepiterion sheet it gives the answer. There will be two "pools" of students. Those west of Castro valley will be in a pool, and the top 10 students from that pool will be selected. Students east of Castro Valley are in another pool, where 40 will be selected. The alternates will just fill a spot at whichever campus becomes available. Soooooo, you and I are vying for 2 of the 10 spots! I am just hoping no one else has high scores like you do!

I still think you're in darned good shape - 97th percentile means only 3% of students scored higher than you!

Thanks alibear! It is TOTAL points though, and With my TEAS score, I have a total of 70 points. So we will see! My TEAS score was 0.3% away from 87%, which would have given me a grand total of 72 points. Grrrr

I bet you are fine, with my TEAS score, I am just a few points higher than you. Though thank goodness it is total points since my TEAS score was not as fabulous as yours.

I just wanted to update everyone. I emailed Chabot to ask, and the acceptance/waitlist letters were sent out today. Hopefully we will get them in the mail tomorrow!
