Chabot RN Program Fall 2018

Hello! When do you think we'll hear back? Keeping my fingers crossed!

Hi! I received a letter in the mail after mailing in my application that they will be sending out updates on the week of April 30th. Did you apply to any other schools?

I applied to Contra Costa and Ohlone also. I know letters were sent out for CC and haven't received one so I don't think I got in . You?

I applied to Los Medanos and people have already received an email saying they passed phase 1. They also mentioned they they sent in their applications early. I haven't gotten anything yet, but I sent it my application right before the application window closed so we'll see. It's still pretty early I believe. I've read other forums and in the past years, people have received letters in May/ June. So keep your head up and good luck!! I'll keep you posted if I hear anything :)

I just found out I'm #17 on the alternate list for CC - last year they went up to #26 so not all hope is lost I guess...

Did Chabot send letters notifying people who were eligible for the lottery? Or will they just send admission letters to those who are picked in the lottery?

No letters yet. They will be sending emails and letters the week of April 30th

Phew! For a moment there I was worried I hadn't received a letter so wasn't eligible for the lottery. Thanks so much - this waiting game is doing crazy things to my head lol

Hello everyone! Just checking in. I also applied for this fall. The Nursing Dept will start sending out mails and emails next week on who got into the program. I'm so nervous and excited! Good luck y'all!

Just to clarify, are they sending out actual acceptances into the program, or letters indicating if you made it into the lottery?

Hmm that's a good question. I don't think it specified in their letter. I'll give them a call tomorrow to verify. Hopefully it's our actual acceptance in the program. Lol this waiting game is crazy

I checked the email I received that stated they've received my application and it says:

-Notification of your program status will be sent during the week of April 30, 2018, via email to your Zonemail account as well as a letter through the U. S. Mail

I guess there is a possibility that we have been accepted into the lottery?
