CEU's

I live in the state of Virginia. I was wondering if any other LPNs or RNs are in Virginia? I am a stay at home mom, and work very very PRN. As you know we now have to have CEUs in the state of VA. every two years now. Since I work very little, I can't get enough on the job hours or employee continuing education. I was wondering if there are any completely online seminars that we can do without hands on work to renew our license? I just took 3 community college health related credit hours that will count towards renewing it this June (which is a requirement we can do), but don't want to keep taking college classes to renew it. I've tried emailing the board, but they won't get back to me. Thanks!

    There are many sites that offer free CEU opportunities. nurse.com, CEDirect, and many more exist. Even more sites offer CEUs for a fee- ANA, specialty organizations, possibly state nursing organizations.
