I've been a RN for almost 1 year now. My licensee expires in march and that's fine. What do I do with my CEU's? Am I suppose to make copies and send them somewhere?

In my state, you list the title of the course, the name of the provider and their provider number, and the number of credits on the reverse of your renewal form and submit it with your check. That is it. Then later on, should you be audited, you would have to send a copy of the certificate of completion. We are warned to keep our certificates of completion for a total of four years because we are subject to audit for four years. However, in our state, the first renewal after initial licensure, is a freebie with no CEUs required. You might want to give the Board a call and ask so you can save some money if you don't need the CEUs for your first renewal.
