CEU's?

Does anyone know the state requirements for continuing education units?

A co-worker recently told me there is a certain amount you are supposed to have a certain amount to maintain our licenses every year, but our employer (an agency) doesn't provide this. I can't find anything about this on the az board of nursing website.

Zero. Specific employers may require CEU's, but the Board of Nursing doesn't.

Az does NOT require CEUs.

OK. :) I heard this from a fellow nurse who had just moved here from a different state, so she may have assumed CEU's were required if it is what she is used to. Thanks for the information.
