CEU's

How many CEU's do we need to get by the end of our first year of nursing? I thought we needed about 30, but my friend said we don't need any at all this year.

Can anyone shed any light?

The way I understand it, you don't need any CEU's after the first year of nursing. They figure you already had so many classes from nursing school. So when you do the renewal the first time after graduating you don't need any (there's a section to say you a new grad). Then after that you'll need CEU's. Hope that helps.
