Hi everyone,
I heard that to become a nurse you have to write an exam. Once you write the exam you will have a license to work as a nurse.
Just wondering, is this similar to the MCATS exam? Do most people who write the exam pass it?
I was told nursing school is pretty intense. Is it like medical school? Out of curiousity, in cases you are aware of is the passing rate high? Rather low?
I heard that most people who apply for medical school don't get in and a very small minority of people who study to become doctors actually become doctors. Is nursing similar?
If it helps, I'm from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Thanks.

I suggest contacting a local nursing school and setting up an appointement with an advisor--they can explain in full detail the process it takes to become a nurse!!!
Best of luck--
