Certification exam

Hello, I just took the paper and pencil inpatient OB exam. For those of you who took any certification exam from NCC, how long did it take to receive your results? Does NCC update your account once they know the results (in other words, if I passed, would my certification show up on my account before I receive my letter)? Thanks.

I'm not sure, because I did the computer test, and I received the "unofficial" results immediately. Therefore, I did not look at the website to see when the status changed. I received the snail mail with my results in about 2 weeks, I believe. It seems logical that they would update your account when the letter is generated, so you would probably know a few days before receiving the letter.

Thanks, klone. I don't think I did well. Just wondering how long I need to wait.

What makes you think you didn't do well? What was the exam like?

PS I accidentally tally liked your post....didn't mean to "like" your discouraged posting :(

Hi lavenderskies,

I feel that I didn't pass because I don't have LDR experience, which is what the exam concentrated on. It also had a lot of newborn questions. I focused my studies on LDR, but it's a lot to study in your own. I took a 2-day review course, and it helped some. But I just felt like I didn't know anything.
