certificate from dole

hi, any retakers here who got the certificate from dole? i just want to ask if we are going to send it to ICHP/cgfns ourselves? are we going to send the original copy since the purpose of the certificate is for cgfns only am i right? are we going to send the original certificate or a photocopy will do?and if we are going to send it to ichp so we will put in the envelope that its from us, is that ok>? will ichp accept it coming from us? or will dole do the sending? thank you im not scheduled to get mine until the 20th of this month.....

Nothing will be accepted from you, the verification must come directly from the PRC or any other agency for anything having to with licensure.

Documents are never accepted from the nurse, even in the US.

Already answered your PM. Just wait for your schedule and pick up your personal copy of the certificate on the day you are scheduled to get it.

Frankly, I'm a bit surprised that they didn't give specific instructions on what to do next when someone passed. This should have been given beforehand.

Anyway, if they didn't do that beforehand then you'll get all the necessary extra instructions once you go to the DOLE office in Intramuros, Manila when you get it. Just follow the instructions to be given. There will always be instructions posted.

The certificate is needed to differentiate you from the June 2006 passers that didn't passed and those that did not take it at all. Applying for validation of license from PRC w/o the benefit of the certificate will not do any good.

Definitely, just wait for your schedule and pick up your personal copy of the certificate and follow any other instructions to be posted at DOLE.

Traditionally, any impt. certification or validation like this, as Suzanne said, has to be sent directly by the one who issued it and anything given by the issuer to the applicants is for personal copy only.

Example, is the license validation from PRC. They do not need the hard license. What they need is for PRC to fill-up the license validation form and just write the license number there and sign that to certify officially that you are a licensed RN in PH.

Another example is the English Proficiency exams, you will get a personal copy of having passed it but you will still have to request IELTS or TOEFL to send a validation to CGFNS/ICHP as well. They will not accept the personal copy given to you by IETLS/TOEFL.

The basic reason for this is to avoid fraudulent documents. Any one can simply make a fake document if they allow the applicants to directly send it.

Definitely just wait. Take it one step at a time. And don't forget to have extra cash. There is usually a fee if requesting someone to send in something.
