Has anyone ever worked at Cedars Sinai, in LA. The company I'm with has a ton of ICU positions available. Its a HUGE hospital--Im from a much smaller hospital--not sure if it would be best to try to take a "step between" sizes or just jump right in. Also do you know if they accept first time travelers and average pay. Any feedback would be great. Is it right in the middle of LA or on the outskirts. One more thing... is housing easy to find outside of LA or woud you reccommend taking housing?
Thanks in advance

Whitney, based upon other posts on allnurses, it sounds like Cedars is an awful place to work (as a traveler). I have interviewed with them for both bedside and infection control positions and their HR department is staffed with a bunch of idiots. As for housing in LA, there are A LOT of people looking for roommates on Craigslist. Having spent a lot of time in LA, I HIGHLY recommend that you find a place within a mile of the hospital. Traveling 10 miles in LA often takes a lot more time than in most other cities. Good luck!
