2013 CCP Nursing Program

Hello Everyone,

Wanted to get this started for those who have applied to the program this year and want to get to know other applicants. I was accepted into the CCP nursing program for the 2012 fall semester start date. I attended until 6 weeks before the semester ended. Sadly I had to medically withdraw from the program so in order to continue I had to reapply and start over again. I am hoping to get back in this year. I look forward to talking to other people who have applied and get accepted.

Hi All, I took the allied health test on 1/16. I have 8 points towards getting onto the program. I am so nervous and antsy! I hope I get in!

Just got my acceptance letter today to ccp nursing program:) !!! Im truly blessed because I only had 7points. It's only January and I wasn't expecting to find out so so soon especially with only 7points, so there is hope for the 7s out there. BEST wishes to everyone else that applied and i'll keep you all posted as more info comes in.

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm taking AHT on March 1 so I feel like it's a long wait for me. Staying busy with work, kids, and studying A & P 2....but I wish I would just know!!

How was the AHT?? I'm mostly worried about the math...and fractions!! LOL

Congrats! I hope to hear from them soon! I am so nervous

The AHT was not hard at all. You have to manage your time well and leave no questions blank.

THANK YOU! The AHT for me was not that hard; the writting portion was especially easy. I only had a week and half to prepare and still did fairly well. My advice to you is practice your weak spots as much as you can, remember speed is a major factor in the test, and leave nothing blank(when the test monitor gives you the one minute warning, fill in any blanks first and then if some time is left go back and answer those ones you quickly guessed on to your best ability until they anounce time is up).

Good luck to you!!!

THANK YOU!! Since you have 8pts you are pretty much getting in, so no need to be nervous. See you in the Fall 2013 Nursing Program!!!!!

Congrats to you!! so excited to start in the fall.

I was too scared to get my results from the AHT, but yesterday I finally did -- I got a 21, which brings me to 9 points. (WOOOOOOT!!!)

The application booklet says, "Applicants with a score of 9, 8, or 7 points will be offered admission in descending order as space allows."

So . . . now I commence checking my enrollment profile religiously!

But if people with 9 & 8 points are supposed to be offered admission first, I'm wondering how rnnichols already got accepted with 7. It makes me doubt the application booklet, which is nerve-wracking!

I'm still waiting to hear back and I have an 8, so I don't know how accurate the book is.
