CCHS Acceptance letters, Fall 2011?

Letters were supposed to be mailed yesterday or today at the latest. Haven't heard of anyone receiving theirs yet. Are you applying from outside the school or as a change of major?

I've been taking classes there this semester and I applied as a change of major. Admission is very competitive so I hope being there this semester will improve my chances. Just my opinion, but I absolutely love the school and all of the staff and professors. It has been a great experience so far.

The wait is killing me!

Have you heard from CCHS? I called and they said they had mailed the acceptance letters. I have not received mine.

No, none of us change of majors has gotten anything yet either. They said that they were mailed on the 15th but I only live 3 miles from the college so I can't see why it would take this long. I am going to give it until Monday and then I am going to ask for access to my file.

Are you guys referring to Cabarrus College of Health Sciences. If so I was told that they were mailed on the 15th, but I still haven't received anything yet. I also live in Charlotte and can't understand why it is taking this long. I am so anxious to hear back from the school! I have been stalking the mailman everyday for a week now.

Yes, that is exactly what we are talking about. I can't understand why nobody has gotten a letter yet. My boyfriend mailed a letter from Concord to Northern Minnesota the same day and it was received last Wednesday! I feel like a mailman stalker myself. Hopefully tomorrow is the lucky day. Let us know when you get your letter.

Ok, I feel a little bit better knowing that it is not just me without a letter. I was starting to think it got lost in the mail. Is is possible for them to tell you their decision over the phone?

All they will tell you over the phone is that it's in the mail. I think the delay has something to do with the letters having to go through CMC Main before they were sent out. Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

I called the school and they told me their mail took 4 days from the time it was sent out until receipt. But they were supposed to have gone out on the 15th.....

I don't think they mailed them out when they said they did. I have been going crazy this week waiting for the letter. Does anyone know if it helps if you have a batchelor's? If I am not accepted I am considering just finishing my degree at UNCC and then appyling again.
