CCBC FALL 2019

Hi all!

I just submitted my application to CCBCs Essex Day program for Fall '19. I immediately felt like I was going to puke! (hopefully this is a good indication?!) Anyway, I would love to connect with other applicants, so we can worry together.

Hoping to hear back from some of you!

I got a return email. the are "anticipating early April" ???

I figured as much. I think its the ATB program's fault. CCBC's panel meets with the ATB schools and they all make acceptance decisions together. Since most of the ATB schools have their Spring Break starting this Monday (3/18/19), that means the ATB schools are closed and I guess they don't want to squeeze it in on this Thursday or Friday.

Then we have CCBC's Spring break on April 13, so we should definitely have our decisions before then because I doubt they'd want to carry the process over until after CCBC's spring break. I do feel like they should change their time frame from "6-8 weeks" to more like "9-10 weeks"!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news here....but I got my acceptance last year on April 10th....the wait killed me, but hopefully this gives you all a better ballpark (refreshing your email and SIMON only makes you more anxious, so stop it) of when to look for those emails. Good luck!

It doesn't make sense to wait till April. My plan is to apply for Lpn program as a back up program just incase l don't get accepted. The deadline for lpn is April 15. I don't want to stay idle for a whole semester waiting to try my luck again.. I'm still hopeful though. My worry is that l only had one science a&p1 at the time of my application but currently taking micro and a&p2..doesn't sound too appealing.fingers crossed though

I'm glad I read every message. So April 10th huh? Welp. I'll stop logging into CAS now.

Thanks! my thoughts exactly!! it's a contingency acceptance since I'm still in A&P II, but I'll take it!

I applied to Essex Day ATB program!

Sweet! Well hopefully we get to see each other in class.

Congrats Ally! So I guess they really are rolling the decisions out for the day program first. I cannot take the suspense!
