Dec 20, 20187 yr Hi all!I just submitted my application to CCBCs Essex Day program for Fall '19. I immediately felt like I was going to puke! (hopefully this is a good indication?!) Anyway, I would love to connect with other applicants, so we can worry together. Hoping to hear back from some of you!Aly
Feb 3, 20197 yr Author Hi all!Sorry, I made this post, and then couldn't access all nurses for a month ??Anyway, I'm Aly. I applied for the Essex Day program and ATB through Towson, as well as UMSON BSN program, and Towson's traditional BSN program. The whole application process is unreal, and I am constantly worrying that I forgot something. I have a 4.0 GPA and an 83.3 on my TEAS (bombed the English portion) but got around 90 on the other 3. I am currently in A&P II and taking a few other pre-reqs for different programs. CCBC's ATB is my first choice, financially speaking, but I'm a little nervous from horror stories from past students. Anyway, Good Luck to everyone! I can't wait to get the results P.S. Hi Ester!!

At least everything is verified and I will be taking A&P 2 and Psy 103 this spring semester and most likely ethics over the summer.Take ethics with VanHorn! I think he only does honors, but as long as you got an "A" in English, you can take it.

Feb 5, 20197 yr Hello everyone, I applied to the Catonsville hybrid program. Does anyone know when we get notified? I do know we get emails though, not letters. Good luck to everyone!

As a current ATB student (I'm in the Essex evening/wknd and Frostburg)....I can't speak for other ATB programs- but the FSU classes have been a BREEZE! The professors put PowerPoints online that go right along with your book, and they have all responded really quickly to emails thus far.The first semester at CCBC is a lot to adjust to, but it really prepares you for the following semesters (I'm at school four days this week instead of two and have ten-hour clinical shifts Saturday and Sunday...and our second exam is on Tuesday. So it's a lot to get done ?). I have had great clinical instructors thus far, even though some of the nurses and techs have been less than receptive. In some instances it really is just luck of the draw; for skills testing or your clinical placement, for instance.I'm not sure what horror stories you're referring to, but I think I am getting a solid education for what I'm paying. It is without a doubt a rigorous program, but with my handy dandy planner I've been able to make it work. You get out what you put in for the most part, and you will definitely see people drop or fail out.

Very involved and participation is highly encouraged. 2 test w/ study guides, a few take home quizzes, and a term paper. 5-7 pages
