Need help on this scenario.
Scenario: A young girl named Al fell off her bike, sustaining a deep gash to her leg that bled copiously from a severe vessel. The blood technician drew blood for typing and other studies. AL's blood did not agglutinate with either anti A and anti B serum. What would be the classification of her blood group?
Further testing revealed that AL blood lacked the RH factor, Al require a blood transfusion. Named the type of blood you would give to this client.
Questions:
Describe what would happen if Al were given Rh+ blood, and the substances that her body would produce to become sensitized to this blood.
The technician examined AL's blood under the microscope and noticed some of the red blood cells were shaped like crescent moons. Describe the blood disorder that AL may have.
