Hello all! I have been an nurse for over 20 yrs. I did bedside for about 10 years and currently have been teaching in nursing program for over 10 yrs. I am desiring to partake in another facet of nursing. I really think I want to be a nurse navigator. I would even be interested in starting with care management. I job shadowed both and liked them very much. I have a msn and my CNE. I really want to be engaged with patients and families. Any advice on these positions or any other lane in nursing that might fit me is welcomed. Thanks!

Since you like to engage with your patients have you considered becoming a certified nurse coach. You could work 1:1 with clients you choose. I am in a similar side hack and am contemplating leavings exciting world of hospital nursing in the past
Thank you for responding. I'll definitely look into that.

Home health or hospice would fit what you are looking for. Especially hospice.
@OncelWas Thank you for your suggestions. I'm not sure if I'm really one that would like going into people's homes. 😕
