Career Advice, Please!

Hi Everybody,

I am a new LPN, and want to work either per diem or part time while I get my RN online. I know there is lots of info out there, especially on allnurses.com, but does anybody know how I can work with an employment counselor who has expertise in nursing? I have so many questions and want some good advice about what to do and how to do it.

I don't know how to find a counselor. However, you could call the education departments of local hospitals to see if there is a nurse willing to mentor you. Nurse recruiters in hospital's human resource dept may have advice on that as well. Good luck!
