Hi everyone, I'm new to this site but could use some help!
I am on a cardiac floor for clinical and have a pt that was admitted with unstable angina and possible acute coronary syndrome. He had stents placed in LAD a few days ago and is going back for more stents tomorrow. My instructor suggested I do a care plan on decreased tissue perfusion, which makes sense since his angina is caused by decreased blood flow to the heart. He has extensive CAD with moderate aortic stenosis and PVD. Instructor told me not to do decreased cardiac output as his EF is normal. He has had several non-STeMI's over the years and currently takes aspirin, clopidergrol, carvedilol for HTN and Crestor for HL. Any suggestions on outcomes and interventions would be appreciated!
Thanks!
