Capscare Texas

Any RN from Capscare in Texas

Published

Hello is there RN graduate from capscare academy who lives in texas and have been able to endorse their license to Texas.

Specializes in Vents, Telemetry, Home Care, Home infusion.

Per the Florida Board of Nursing website, CAPSTONE ACADEMY FOR HEALTH CARE EDUCATION  RN associate degree license approval was granted 3/13/23 so brand new and has no NCLEX results.    Therefore, no RN graduates to apply for Texas license.

As a new program with for-profit status, it does not yet qualify for national Nursing Accreditation  ACEN approval (LPN/Associate) or CCNE ( BSN/Masters/Doctorate) .

It's website  provides limited information,  missing information regarding nursing courses provided,  nor list of nursing administrators that a high quality program normally provides on their website.

Florida BON requires accreditation after 3 years to maintain approval status.

One can search for accredited/candidate ACEN programs here  --higher chance of education being accepted by another state as meeting its standards.

Best wishes in your nursing journey.

Specializes in CRNA, Finally retired.

Very sketchy looking school indeed.  Another Florida program looking for those tuition dollars with limited opportunities to work in the end.  Sad.

I am still waiting for my endoresent at this time. I been waiting since February

When did you graduate and what degree did you obtain LPN cert or ADN as no NCLEX  takers listed for 2023  and in 1st Q 2024 - one did not pass from this school,  so holdup in TX understandable.

I graduated in 2022 but didn't take the NCLEX until this year

Schools website stated ADN program started in 2013 , reorganized under new President in 2023 with state approval in 2023. Since you graduated prior to new state approval will take longer review with TX BON needing to contact FL BON to confirm information post FBI Nightingale scandel.
