Cant put my finger on it!

Hi everyone! I have been searching the internet like crazy and I can't find what i'm looking for, and I'm hoping someone can help! I'm looking for a new job. I love patient interaction but I'm thinking i'm maybe better suited in more of an "administrative" position is the only term i can think of. I currently work in L&D, but I literally dread going to work. Like I said I enjoy the pts, and the people I work with are great, but it is just not for me. I am trying to find something with a variety of not "typical" nursing positions. I have looked all over the internet for nursing jobs, but they all come up as traveling or floor jobs and I'm looking for something different but I have no idea where to look. I know there are a TON of other jobs other than traveling and floor but I cant find them! If anyone has any ideas i would be so greatful! Thanks so much!

I found a variety of nursing jobs, including CM, corrections, dialysis, home health, and administration jobs on these websites:

CareerBuilder.com

CraigsList.com

Jobs.MySpace.com

Maybe these sort of jobs would be more suited to you:

Occupational health nurse

Blood donation nurse

Outpatients or pre admission clinics

working on a renal unit

Other day clinics, like sexual health etc

Practice nurse in a Dr'd surg.

hope that helps and you find what your looking for :specs:

D&G Girl,

You may want to contact a recruiter and speak with them about your situation and what type of work you're truly after. Most times, they (recruiters) work for many different companies who are searching for an employee so it may (or may not) be of no cost to you. From my perspective, it couldn't hurt your cause...only possibly help it. If something awesome comes up from the recruiter doing the digging, you reap the benefits!

that is a great idea! thanks everyone! any help is appreciated!
