where all can you work as a CNA?

i have just started out as a CNA. I worked in a nursing home for a little over a month and it was tougher than i expected, not bc of the work but bc of the staff. the nurses were so impatient with me, they wanted me to already know everything and the other CNA i worked with, couldn't even look me in the eye and talk to me, therefore he never gave me information on the patients. I also had to work a lot more than i wanted to. my last week of work there i put in a 70 hour week.

I dont mean to complain, but I really wanted to be a CNA through school, but if I have to do this through school, I feel like I would have to fail at one of the two.

My question is where are other places I could look into working as a CNA (that might also pay well)?

Also, if I did in home private pay, what would be a good rate to accept or ask for?
