Can you take sciences with RN classes at MDC?

All I have left to complete for pre-reqs are A+P 2, Chem, micro and mac1033. I have an A in a biology class and a B in Anatomy 1 (young n stupid, messing around). I'm taking the TEAS sometime this summer. Would I be able to take the rest of my sciences along with my nursing classes if I get into the program? I've seen some people talking about doing that on here, and was just wondering if that was still possible. I'm doing my CNA this summer at MDC, and am doing really well and my instructor is really pushing me to do the RN instead of the LPN, but I don't know if I have the grades for it.

I saw you had another post specifically about MDC in this forum, perhaps if you ask for it to be moved to the US nursing > Specific State > threads or make another post over there you might get more of a response. Many of us probably don't know where or what MDC is :)

You must COMPLETE ALL Pre-reqs to get into the generic RN. The LPN program is all over the place (I have inside info trust me). If you are performing well enough in your science courses, go ahead and apply for the generic RN once you are done with your pre-reqs, unless you really want to be an LPN (they don't work hospital though... they are doing away w/ that.) GOOD LUCK! If there is a will there is a way!!!!!
