Can an Excelsior graduate that enrolled after California's dead line ever go back to school to do a generic nursing or LPN-RN bridge program that would meet CA's requirements and be eligible to apply for a CA RN license? I never had plans to move to CA but I just came back from vacation there and I liked it very much. I enrolled after CA's dead line so I am not eligible to endorse my Florida RN license with them. Any feed back will be greatly appreciated.

I'm also eagerly awaiting an answer to this question, as this is a gray area for me. :)

You'll probably get the best/most reliable answer by contacting the CA State board of Nursing...or check out their website.
I tried calling but was not able to speak to anyone. Just got a recording telling me that they are experiencing a high call volume and to try again later. And their website does not have the answer to my question. I also faxed and email them my question. I'll keep on calling and when I find something out I will post it here.
