Can anyone help?

Hello everyone!

Well I'll start by saying that I am not in the medical field but my girlfriend is. She just left two weeks ago to go to school to become a CRNA. I am trying to help her out seeing as though she's already super slammed with school work.

She just purchased a tablet PC and she is looking for programs such as, reference tables, definitions, ect ect (not exactly sure what would be the best terminology). I was wondering if any professionals like yourselfs use or have used software like this in school or in the field.

Any feedback would be wonderful.

... she's gone for two and a half years. She's only been gone two weeks and it's already been so difficult.

Hi there and welcome. I think its wonderful that you are so supportive. Long distance relationships are hard. My husband and I have been separated up to a year at a time and its rough.

I am not a CRNA but hope someone will come along soon and see if they can help. Another thing is to ask her to ask what the requirements are for her program - other students that are a year ahead of her in school might be a good resource.

There are books that come in pocket pc format like the massachusetts general book of surgical procedures. These can be downloaded and used as a reference. The book anesthesia secrets is also good. I am also in a long distance relationship and admire your support for her.

Good luck!
