  1. The time apart might be good for us. This might be the test of how strong our relationship really is. I plan on going down in March and she's coming home in a month or two I believe. I guess with Long Distant Relationships, in the back of your mind you think she might be unfaithful, ect, ect. I guess that's where the trust comes in. We did talk about me moving down there to find a job but she doesnt want to rush things and make me move only to find a job I hate. Who knows!!
  2. I'm not sure this is in the right section, if not, please feel free to move it. This might be kind of long but I'll shorten it up the best I can. If you have some time to kill and willing to offer suggestions, please feel free. I need it. My girlfriend and I dated for 3 and a half years (long story short) I ended the relationship (the end of 2003). We've since got back in touch and now back together. I have since regreted the break up but understand that it's in the past and everything happens for a reason. I was with her through her 4 years of nursing school. When we broke up she moved to AZ and worked at a couple of hospitals. She moved back home for the month of December and things were great! We had the best of times together. Two weeks ago she moved to Tampa (I live in NY) in pursuit of her CRNA. Her program is two and a half years. The thought of us being apart for that long is heart breaking to me. I understand why she left and what she set out to do but it's not easy. She's stressed and being what she calls, selfish, because she has alot on her plate. I'm sure most of you know what this is like, so I guess my question is, what can I do to stay sane and make it through this huge hurdle that's been thrown in our path? She says that she's doing this to better our future (which makes me smile) but being with out her, is killing me!! ... we're both 26 years old. Thanks you for reading and please, any advice will really help
  3. Hello everyone! Well I'll start by saying that I am not in the medical field but my girlfriend is. She just left two weeks ago to go to school to become a CRNA. I am trying to help her out seeing as though she's already super slammed with school work. She just purchased a tablet PC and she is looking for programs such as, reference tables, definitions, ect ect (not exactly sure what would be the best terminology). I was wondering if any professionals like yourselfs use or have used software like this in school or in the field. Any feedback would be wonderful. ... she's gone for two and a half years. She's only been gone two weeks and it's already been so difficult.
