Calling Past BMCC FALL Grads!

Hello,

I was wondering if you could tell me how long after pinning ceremony in January do you take the NCLEX?

The reason I'm asking is because I have left my job to focus on school and need to know if my funds will last me through the time it will take me to take the test and ultimately find a job.

First tip. Mail your stuff to the state and to Pearson as soon as you possibly can. Some students waited and it really delayed them.

Second tip. Don't hold your breath. BMCC pays for its students to take a KAplan review course after pinning. Because the school pays and they want to ensure that you attend all 5 days, they withhold sending your info to the state until AFTER Kaplan.

The EARLIEST I have heard people taking the test is about 2 months after graduation.
