Another dilemma is that even i passed my nclex exam i heard they will hold my license unless i can show them my SSN no within 3 yrs...what if i was not able to present an SSN..will it means i have to retake the exam?...please help,....thanks and godbless

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

Moved to the International forum, please take the time to read in this forum as much has already been written about Ca and SSN. I wouldn't file for another application but try sending an email if you are not getting answer by phone

They do not hold a license as they do not even issue one without a SSN#, you only get a piece of paper that you have passed the exam. You are not considered a licensed US RN until you have an actual hard license issued.

As Anna has mentioned, there is already much on this topic. Please just do a search. I am going to close this thread since there are already several that have the instructions as to what you will need to do.
