Ca Nclex- Rn -august 8

Published

Is there anybody in CA who took NCLEX-RN on Friday August 8 already found their name posted?

Average wait time is ten days, and if testing on Friday, you normally never see your name on Monday. The BRN is closed over the weekend and they do not process anything. Three days when testing during the week, but on Friday; just not going to happen. We rarely see it.

Best of luck to you.

So Wednesday would be day 3 if I tested on Friday right. Do you know when and how often the site is updated? After reading many post, I found out that you can test here in california before you file is completed. So I called yesterday because one I didn't go to school here in california and wanted to know if what I had being reading was correct and if so if my file is completed. Well the guy told me that it is true that you can take NCLEX if your file is incomplete, and he also told me that my file is completed and that my test hasn't been processed yet. What does that mean?

Thanks

It means that your test hasn't been reviewed by a person yet. This time of the year is a busy time for Ca so all you can do is relax and wait. Good luck

It's super hard to do that at this point..... Is the site updated only once a day? Does it matter how many questions and what kind of questions you answered? The computer shut off at 75.... Is there anything that give a person an indication if they passed or failed. I'm super nervous...

Oh...I think I forgot to mention that I tested Friday August 8. I want to know when would my name would be posted on the site if I passed.

Usually BRN updates once a day but some members posted a few times that even then it wasn't happening. Number of questions doesn't mean much, that is the nature of the exam, no one can predict anything. What we do know if trained in the US then you have a 85% pass rate for first time. Your name will not appear on the website until it has been reviewed by someone and no one can really tell how long that will take. We have a thread ongoing regarding Ca and RN posting results suggest you check it out
