Bypass LPN program? True or False?

I was told that if you could pass the LPN test you could go straight into the RN program without completing the LPN program. This isn't true, right?

No, and I can't even imagine that is something that can be done.

In some, very few, states IF you are in the RN program, through the first year of a 4 year, you can Challenge the LPN test, take it, and if you pass you can work as an LPN until you get your RN license.

Here in oklahoma you can take your LPN exam after your first year of RN school (we had a few classmates who did that this summer).

Could you tell me how that works for a Rn student? I mean, taking the LPN exam after the first year of Rn school? I don't really even know if I could pass the test unless it really isn't all that hard. Did your classmates do ok?

Thanks.
