Butte College Spring 24

I applied for the Spring LVN-RN bridge for Spring 2024. I wanted to create this chat for anyone who applied so we can keep in touch about the process. I dropped off my application 6/12  in person but the office is closed. I ended up putting it in the drop box. --------------------- said she picked them up Fridays and will be going through them. I haven't heard back. I'm trying not to bombard her so hoping many of you guys can share your experience/info. Thank you and best of luck!

I'm on my 7th application for the bridge program. Did you receive email confirmation about them receiving your app? They used to send emails out but haven't the last few times I've applied.

I applied this round and received an email confirmation stating decisions will be emailed between Sept 15 and Oct 10 and not to call before Oct 10 if we don't receive an email.

Oh my gosh 7th application? I heard the bridge program is supposed to be easier to get in. This is my first application. I am anxious just thinking about it. When did you drop off your packet? It took me 3 weeks to hear back but partially due to them forgetting to message me that my application has been approved. I hear your chances of getting in are pretty good on the 7th try. Even if I don't get in I will keep working and applying. It will all work out! Good luck to all of us❤️

So I didn't get any confirmation until I reached out to her. My guess is they forgot to email me LOL. After messaging her I received the same message. Will be patiently waiting until lottery time. How many times have you applied? This is my first attempt for the bridge program?

-------------------------- emailed me and said they only send out confirmation of receiving the first application, for re-applicants a email isn't necessary. Yes, 7th time applicant for bridge program. I live in Redding so I mail my apps with carrier confirmation. They are supposed to be starting a new accelerated program in Spring so hopefully you guys won't have to wait as long as I do.

OK that makes sense. Dreading just waiting to find out. Will definitely be reapplying to the accelerated program if I don't get in. Fingers crossed! ❤️

Hello ? 

This is my second attempt. I know this school usually takes 4-7 applications to get into...but maybe I will be lucky. I live in LA so I will also be applying to other schools ex: College of the Canyons, Pierce College, Antelope Valley College, and Pasadena City College. I wish everyone the best of luck!

They usually send emails out the last week of Sept
