Bummed Out

I am now taking BIO 201; ENG 101; PSY 200; MUS APP; I thought these grades would go toward my point system to help me get into LPN school. I took ENG 101 in 2006 and quit without withdrawing and that lowered my GPA really bad and I know that is going to hurt me very bad. But, I called the director over nursing and said the classes I am taking now will not go toward my classes because the deadline for them are June 15. So I really do not know if I will get in or not!

I can understand why you'd feel bummed, it is disappointing. But there is still a chance that you could get it so don't give up hope. And there is always next time, too.

What kind of LPN program is it?

This is a good post that many people can take away something from. Just becuase you think something is so, does not make it so. No matter what, check everything out with your specific nursing program.

Any advice you get off these boards or even something you think is common sense really is nothing but supposition until you confirm it with your school.
